    Tri-Annual Judy Sheehan Excellence in Animal Welfare Compliance Award

    SPONSOR: NCB-AALAS

    AWARD:  Perpetual plaque, $250 honorarium, and lifetime membership to NCB-AALAS.

    ELIGIBILITY:

    • Active NCB-AALAS branch participation (officer, committee member, presenter, etc.)
    • Must be a current NCB-AALAS member and must have been a member since August 2017
    • Demonstrated a commitment to continuing education with certification at the CPIA, LATG, and/or CMAR level.
    • Special consideration is given for nominees who have:
      • Written and/or reviewed IACUC protocols
      • Served on an IACUC
      • Had an article on some aspect of animal welfare compliance published in an industry journal, presented a poster, and/or gave a presentation at an AALAS, PRIM&R, SCAW, or LAWTE meeting
