Since 1960, the Northern California Branch of AALAS has been dedicated to the humane care and treatment of laboratory animals and to the quality research that leads to scientific gains that benefit mankind and animals. NCB-AALAS membership provides high quality, affordable educational opportunities, technical training, and resources for career development and professional certification to laboratory animal professionals.
What do I receive for my NCB-AALAS membership?
In addition to being a member of one of the most active branches of AALAS (over 500 members strong!), you will be able to develop your professional network, keep in touch with colleagues, and will have access to timely notifications about job opportunities in Northern California. Other advantages include getting discounted access to AALAS Learning Library, accruing continuing education credits, member discounts to branch events, and you will be eligible to be nominated for distinguished awards, many of which include a cash prize. Members are also able to develop leadership qualities by becoming a board member and helping to shape the future of the branch.
When I try to sign in, I get a message that says my e-mail is already in use. What does that mean?
At some point, you started to sign up for a membership using that e-mail address or you signed up for an event using that e-mail address. Our database tracks by e-mail addresses. If you are experiencing problems with the website, e-mail ncbaalas@gmail.com. We will get it corrected for you. Please do not sign up with another e-mail address. That will create problems later. Again, contact ncbaalas@gmail.com for resolution of the problem.
How do I change my e-mail address or other membership information?
After signing into your account, go to the top right corner of the page and click the My Profile link. Update your profile information as needed and click Save when done.
Does my NCB-AALAS membership include membership in national AALAS?
No.
Is the Northern California branch connected to national AALAS?
